~Emily

Emily
wished
this day to up and
fly,
today
she followed
a bluebird into the sky.
No one said
she couldn't,
so she's never asked why.
Emily
followed
 a bluebird
into the
sky.

    So simple...

yet so thought provoking. So many things could be read into this. It could be as simple as Emily was using her imagination and flying free. Still it could pertain to the ability to physically soar if you believe you can instead of believing in the laws of physics which seemingly control us. Or it could be speaking metaphorically for her spirit leaving to soar the sky. Very simple...yet so deep.

    Awsome

There is no freedom like the freedom that comes from the innocence of a child. Thats when anything is truly possible because the rules and laws we are so governed by don't effect our minds and cares nearly as much as they do when we become so much like the Pharisees that we have become.
    Thank you for sharing.

although i find this as a lighthearted piece, i can sense death here...am i right? i like this a lot. it is very simple and clean yet it has an underlying message that could be understood if you try to read between the lines...
