Waiting Room

The loudest silence was coming
from the heart moniter down the hall
as the oblivious television
tried hard to entertain a room
full of zombies.
Even the actress wasn't interested
in giggling about her anniversary in Paris
and the interviewer was losing her mind
on her 56th hour without sleep
like the nurse
who wasn't part of anyone's story
but got all the blame anyway.

You have captured the atmosphere inside a waiting room quite brilliantly with the use of some fine imagery and you cut through all the rubbish, you seem to have a great knack of saying so much in so few words, for me your writing just gets better and better,i feel sorry for the poor nurse, its the people who do the most important work get the least respect
    well done cee
