Mother said she loves me
That I am everything to her;
Father said he'd protect me
From all the harm and the boys.
My mom said that she’d slap me
If I disobey or misbehave;
My dad said he too busy
To play with me or take me places.
Mommy’s too busy working
So grandma take good care of me;
I’ve never met my daddy
So other kids call me grandma’s boy.
Mama always slapped and beat me
Because she said papa cheated on her;
Papa is always drinking and doesn’t pay attention to me
So I always feel alone and sad.
I’m hungry, ma where are you?
Why did you leave me all alone?
Pa is not here either
I wish he didn’t die.
At school I bully other kids
Because at home I’m bullied too;
I steal from others’ properties,
So what, my parents don’t care!
I see other girls with many friends
I envy them for that;
I’m quiet and very shy
Because at home I’m neglected, beaten and unloved.
Over dinner it’s always quiet
It’s boring and suffocating;
My parents don’t really care for what I do
So I’m wild, careless, and free!
I’m restricted of many things I do
Outside and at home as well;
I’m punished for disobeying
But I’m disciplined and trained to be well off.
I’ll love my kids and protect them
I’ll teach them obedience and care
I’ll respect their choices and mistakes
I will rear my children to become great adults.
