Siren's cove

Wind ruffling the sails,
of the ship riding through the sea.
Waves tossing at the bow,
pounding at the vessel gliding free.

Beautiful woman watching from the rocks,
black dress billowing in the breeze.
Sharp ears waiting in anticipation,
for the sound of silent pleas.

Finally the boat flew past,
escaping the sharp black rocks.
For now it was definitely time,
to stop every one of the clocks.

She lifted up her arms,
and slowly began to sing.
Sweet melodies filled the air,
and the waves roared like a living thing.

On board all men stood quiet,
their ears filled with the deadly song.
Unable to steer the boat,
for them everything had gone wrong.

The ocean grew to new heights,
towering over the mast.
Whipped into existance by Siren,
never to stop 'till finished task.

Her eyes glinted in glee,
as the wave poured over with a crash.
Smashing the boat in half,
while lightning came down with a flash.

Rain started to pour,
over the men unable to swim.
Like teardrops mourning their death,
at the siren's evil whim.

One by one they drifted up,
to the foot of their satisfied killer.
She bent down with a soft face,
and stroked them with a tender finger.

Siren's cove.
