Awakened

I'm walking through the streets texting on my phone,
When all of a sudden I hear a moan.
I turn around to get a look and this is what I see;
I see a woman who looks like hell,
Staring straight at me.
She's black and blue and pink,
She needs to see a doctor,
That is what I think.
I walk over give her a smile and say hi,
She stares at me continuously,
And I wonder if she's high.
Then she stops that look and starts to say something,
You can tell its really bad by the way that she says nothing.
I urge her on,
And she's relentless to comply,
And when she's don I finally know why.
Her husband used to beat her,
He always made her cry,
and he made her always want to die.
He raped her,
He scraped her,
He totllay betrayed her.
He shouldnt have done what he did,
He knew it was wrong.
And yet he beat her,
And worse they had had a kid.
What selfish man could leave her and not care about her life?
What evil fate of death and hate,
and not cared of her his wife?
So I lead her to a doctor and I stayed always by her side,
Because every time she would wake up it made me want to cry.
Then finally I can realize my selfish and untrusting ways,
I finally awaken to some new and brightened days.
