Love is so blind

Love is so blind
When someone cares
About you
Your so in love
You don’t notice what’s
Going on around you

They try to warn you
He isn’t good
But you don’t believe them
Your so deceived

And then you see him
Around his friends
They are talking
And you hear a glimpse of words
“I can’t believe you actually followed the dare!”
One says
You listen on
“She’s such a geek”
And then he says
“I know”

You run away
Into the girls
Bathroom

And
Cry
Your mind replays the
Hurtful words
No matter how hard you try to stop
It’s like a broken machine

Your body is trembling
Arms shaking
Legs shaking
Lips trembling
Eyes…
Closing…

They find you
In the office
Calling your mom
Or
Dad
One finally answers
You tell the story,
Lie a bit…

They come to pick you up
The ride home
Is painful
Silent
They stare at you
With burning eyes
You went against their rules, no dating
Disobeyed them

You try hard to not cry
In front of them
You succeed

Finally you get to your bedroom
And wonder will they ever forgive
You

And wonder will you ever forgive
Yourself?

Author notes

Yeah, long I know. Completely fictional, not so great, I had writer's block...

    WOW...

I wrote a poem just like this one! OMG!!!! You described it more than i did. The poem is very realistic. And you're right, love is blind. I really much like it. I don't know anything that's wrong with it. I just like how you tell the reader the reality! AWESOME JOB!!! XD

    Nice

Well Hope if I wrote like that when I had writers block I'd be very proud. I didn't think it was to long it was like a poetic story that kept me interested well done and keep writing.
