Sunrise, Sunset

The ivy green eyes
which dance with joy
amidst the golden rain

The sun casts a gentle glance
to the Western sky
enveloping the land with warmth

Softly
the trees sway
color of rich complexity

Slowly
the birds will chirp
and the awakening of day
is marked
while time passes

The earth becomes a lively flourish of life
no place is still
and the sun shines with confidence

The sun fades once more
its vigorous light
surrenders to the shadows
now a dying ember

Skies are dark again
the moon takes its kingdom of night
as stars reappear from a day of hiding
the wolves peer out from their amber eyes
life's song has not abated

A new day comes upon the earth once more
and the sun will light the land anew.

Sunrise,
sunset.

Author notes

I was feeling in a nature mood today.

How can I improve this?

Nice imagery! I especially like the opening lines. Also
    Skies are dark again
the moon takes its kingdom of night
as stars reappear from a day of hiding
the wolves peer out from their amber eyes
    life's song has not abated
