Lifes Image

Looking pass the outside window
Standing upon the grass full of life's energy

An image orange and yellow captured
A still figure in the sky
For a moment motionless.

Watching my every movement
rewording my every thought
I gaze into my fate
as it bows behind trees

It lifted me to another time
a place
arriving slowly to my destiny
I breathe

my mind changed
Life outside of my window is beautiful
the image of life revealed itself to me

I am beautiful as the sun
Masked pain covers me
but I still shine through trees, everything

Written like a true story of coming to age. Not in a literal sense, but mentally. Very beautiful.

In my opinion, the flow is a bit awkward at the beginning, but it gets very nice as the poem goes on. Such appreciation for the simple nuances of life is applaudable.
