Spirals of adaptation
clinging to consistency
Seeking righteousness
Provoking pugnacity
Stretching towards tranquility
surrounded by animosity
These eyes bare witness
To atrocity...
Allowing vulnerability
Encouraging audacity
Suppressing negligence
Solidified tenacity
Implications of nostalgia
Embellishing insanity
These eyes bare witness
To atrocity...

This could be interpreted in a few ways, the contradicting couplets
suggests a mental battle between your beliefs and the ones that are forced upon you,it also has a drug trip feel about it..as usual with your poetry it makes me think such is the power of the language,it contains some great lines throughout,my favorites;
"These eyes bear witness
to atrocity" ....................would you consider repeating those lines right at the end?
"implications of nostalgia
Embellishing insanity"
I can relate to those lines

Thank you so much for the comment Terry! You are right, it's definitely a struggle with both myself, and the factors that effect such. An inner, enigmatic perplexity that eats at me.
I repeated the lines just for you. Although I think I may have to do some adjusting on the 3rd and fourth line from the bottom. Thanks again.

PS: I think you know where the slight drug implication comes from
