my new yellow jumper

Living reminded me
at Matalan last October
that vodka is death petrol
for a man with a mangled liver
so I bought a yellow jumper
then I walked to my bus stop
with a penny change
and a new jumper
but along the way
a group of masked kids
demanded a penny for the Guy
so I gave them a penny
but that was not enough
so they stole my yellow jumper,
my cigarettes, my wallet,
my rent money, my drivers licence
and a precious poem that I wrote
which they tore up and threw
on their raging bonfire
then the kid who threw it
turned to me and said,

"What the fuck are you lookin` at
ya faggot bastard?"...

It`s dark in here and i`m afraid..

    Wow

Hey Rhet this poem is so powerful it has such a harsh reality the hits you in face. I like it, it has a direct and blunt message of fear and loss. I'm sorry this happened to you though but I do like your writing as always it is truly unique.
