Is it ever really there

never say i love you
if you don't really care
never talk about feelings
if they aren't really there
never look into my eyes
if all you do is lie
never say hello
if you really mean goodbye
never hold me in your arms
and say i loved you from the start
never say forever we'll be
if you don't even plan to start
never say these things if you don't take them to heart
