If I were to be defined
by what I do,
laundry, washing and folding
cooking, healthy and delicious
errands, mundane and tedious
videogames, silly and uneducated.
I would be little more
than a house wife.
However if I were to be defined
by what matters to me
two cats, loving and wild
a marine, strong and loyal
siblings, difficult and worthwhile
parents, wise and truthful.
Then I am much more
then the day to day.
Life has meaning
for who is in it.
