I.O.U

A heart that’s never been broken,
Eyes that never have cried,
A spirit that never got busted,
Ears that never heard lies,
Three years which haven’t been wasted,
A smile that hasn’t yet cracked,
Promises that are kept forever,
A childhood that’s still intact,
The attention I should have given,
An apology long overdue,
Everything I stole without warning,
This is my I.O.U.
