Life can seem ungrateful and not always kind,
Life can pull at your heartstrings and play with your mind.
Life can be blissful and happy and free,
Life can put beauty in the things that you see.
Life can place challenges right at your feet,
Life can make good of the hardships we meet .
Life can overwhelm you and make your head spin ,
Life can reward those determined to win.
Life can be hurtful and not always fair ,
Life can surround you with people who care.
Life clearly does offer its Up and its Downs,
Life's days can bring you both smiles and frowns.
Life teaches us to take the good with the bad,
Life is a mixture of happy and sad ,
So…
Take the Life that you have and give it your best,
Think positive, be happy , let God do the rest .
Take the challenges that life has laid at your feet,
Take pride and be thankful for each one you meet .
To yourself give forgiveness if you stumble and fall,
Take each day that is dealt you and give it your all .
Take the love that you're given and return it with care,
Have faith that when needed it will always be there.
Take time to find the beauty in the things that you see,
Take life's simple pleasures let them set your heart free.
The idea here is simply to even the score,
As you are met and faced with Life's Tug of War .

oh my god… its really AMAZING ,
however it would be much more easier to read if u divide it into stanzas? thats all i can say about such a wonderfull piece… do continue writing !!

Snappy and Upbeat
This poem has a good possitive uplifting message. When I first clicked on the poem, my first reaction was to be a bit overwhelmed by the list of Life at the beginning of the lines, but I quickly noticed that it changed about midway through. Once in the rhythym of reading the poem, it all works nicely though.
I am not sure that the title does it justice though. I think you could name it something a little more descriptive in keeping with it's rhythym and draw the reader in without them having the first impression of repetediveness.
Perhaps something like --Life Beat-- or Life Rhythm, Drum or something similar that denotes it is not only about life, it is a chant or rap, etc.
I like the poem and I like the way it uses its rhythym to make it more affective.

Great Mantra For LIfe

i usually don't like positive thinking type stuff, but i like this, and you do point out that life can be both negative and positive.
as a side note i thought you might really enjoy a book called The Life Of Pi, about an Indian teen,(from India) whose family owns and circus and they decide to move to Canada. i'm sure you see the connection. the author is Yann Martel. anyway its a great read.

yeah, you got life. The happy and bad, but i don't agree with some...you say if you try and i mean REALLY TRY you can have a pretty good life. I have tried for my 14 yrs. of life and i think living sucks!
