I’m fairly new here and was wondering, what is the point in Points?
Are there compotitions or anything, ‘cause I kinda don’t get it.
    Thanks for your time.

You use your points to add extra reward to those who comment on your work.

      The points

They usually start with 4. When all the points have been used, there will still be one left for the also-rans.

Each time you critique a poem, (there is a difference between a comment and a critique) points are awarded. When you have collected enough, you can add them to the one provided automatically, as a reward for the first people posting about your own poem.

        Whats the difference

What is the difference between a comment and a critique if you don’t mind me asking?

A comment is just that, it’s a comment one makes on a piece. It has no critical value to it. A critique however does have critical value to it, it showcases why’s and why nots, suggestions are given from the reader to the writer, a more thorough depth is written and seen.

At least to me that’s what the differences are.
