Where are the comments?

I was hoping that I would learn something about my writings, whether I am on the right path or if I need to just throw in the towel. But I’ve posted my pieces here and nobody seems to want to leave comments after reading them. What am I doing wrong? I think I am going to stick to the AP site at least they comment, even if it just “Good Job!”
Maybe I am going about this in the wrong way.

    MissBHaven,

Hang in there. I am a sucker for stories and I’ll either give you a critique to end all critiques, or else say hello and why not. Unfortunately I have to go for groceries first. Terry

Well, it always helps to comment on other people’s work. They tend to want to return the favor. This site is a bit slow about it but the critiques are good, better than at allpoetry, in my opinion.

    Best.

Why is this topic in Suggestions, Errors, Policies?

What the fuck is wrong with all of you whining people? More than half the topics in the social section are exactly the same as this.People turn up, post their works all over the place and then just sit there and expect people to comment on your poems while you do nothing in return? You’ve made all of two comments. Of course you’ve got hardly any made on your work. Stop being so damn lazy and greedy and go and make some constructive criticism on other peoples work.
