I’ve been cooped up in my apartment working furiously on this new site, planning a wedding, and dealing with the general hecticness of life.

But today I got to go sailing! It was great, just my Dad and I out in the middle of a lake, with nothing to do but relax and enjoy the sun.

Life’s too short to not enjoy the peaceful moments between things! Part of me feels that’s what poetry is all about…

I wish there was anywhere to go sailing around here, in AR, lol. Glad you had fun. TTYL.

Spending entirely too much time reading today. Fixing my own errors here- love it when I can do that. Lol.

Great to hear you got some sun for a while Kevin. Sounds very fun. Shelley, that’s a totally different country than the UK I do know that Australians are SUPER nice so hope all goes well for you!

[claps] There are a lot of emotions that the word ‘sailing’ evokes. Lovely!

        Thanks Adrienne,

I don’t think Kevin is responding. I hope this wasn’t out of line.

I don’t see why it would be anything but well received Del. He’s getting married THIS Sat and this site well I’m sure he’s just busy. I bet you know how it is. There’s nothing at all out of line here unless I missed sth HEY did I miss sth ha ha

Yeah, I been busy too and plumb missed the news that the wedding is THIS week-end, so the dude definately has a built in excuse there…lol.

Hope he and his bride have a wondrous wedding, a happy honeymoon, and a fruitful future.

Now there is some of the corniest alliteration I have ever posted, but the underlying thoughts are sincere.

    Del

    Sailing

Sailing is amazing! Very diverse, too- from being described as “an alternative to standing in a cold shower ripping up £20 notes” to lying on your front in the bows of a 44-ft yacht in the Scottish Hebrides, watching as a school of dolphins jump in front of the bows, almost close enough to touch… Ah, it’s been too long since I last went sailing!
