Miers: Supreme Court Justice

    “She [Miers] will be the next Justice of the Supreme Court.” President Bush says with fervent audacity towards everyone in opposition.

    I guess he didn’t get his way ‘cause she withdrew her nomination.

    I guess now even his voice amongst his own ‘supporters’ is getting weak. Roberts everyone (mostly) agreed on, no one agreed with Miers but Bush, it seemed.

    I wonder who his next nomination will be? His wife?

    Miers: Smokescreen

    It seems pretty obvious to me now that the only reason Bush named her first was to slip this Alito bastard past us. Consider what yesterday’s Washington Post reports: “Bush said Alito was the most experienced nominee in 70 years.”

    If he truly were the most experienced nominee, then why didn’t Bush parade him about from the beginning? What was this Miers crap all about?

    Oh well, it’s not like we’re going to pay for this mistake for the next 20 years or so. Women, be prepared to turn the clock back 40 years. And your wombs are no longer your property.
