The whole system is really confusing. I signed up a few months ago, but I can't get the hang of this site. I like the idea of giving and receiving serious critiques, but I don't understand how the system works. Why can you only have a handful of poems up at the one time? And what's the point rewards thing all about? How do we earn the points? I remember commenting on a poem that said it gave rewards when the site first popped up, and I didn't get any points from it, so that kinda confused me. Can I get some light shed on this? I would like to be a part of this site, but I need to be un-confused.

Well, I think the main reason that a writer can only have a few poems posted is because this site is all about giving and recieving constructive critique. The writer posts only the poems they are busy working on, revising and polishing. That way, readers will know what to comment on.
The point reward system;
You get points for each critique you leave. You can use these points to add a 'reward' on your poem to double the points users get for critiquing it. That way, you can reward the people who read your work with more points.
And the more you critique, the more points you will get, and the more rewards you can add to your poems.
Also critique have to be longer than a few sentences. Possibly the critique you had left was too short.
I hope this helps clear everything up…
