Anyone heard this guy? He's amazing! I can't figure out why he's not as well known as Mozart and Beethoven. Much easier to listen to, and a dynamic quality that really sweeps you off your feet!

I wish I could share him with you guys…

would like to share
could you possibly provide us a link where we can hear his music? -

Aye
They have some on Napster. It certainly sounds every bit as famous as the dead musicians! Classical is great to write to -
My Dad likes Bruckner. I’ve probably heard some but couldn’t sing it. A lot of composers are fantastic, but little-known. Well, Bruckner isn’t exactly little-known, but less known than Mozart.. A sad fact is that a lot of people just see classical music as chillout music. So composers such as Einaudi sell millions because they are easy to listen to, although musically the composing is often not complicated- arpeggioic forms and variations, etc. It’s a sad thing!

Yes it is. Classical composing is very complicated, and when not complex, still very hard. I can’t for the life of me think of a single classical song that is ONLY arpeggio ideas and variations on it.
And how in the name of god can people think classical is just chillout music… they need Beethoven’s Appassionata…

I Know I'm Late, But...
You want only arpeggios? How about "Fur Elise"? Sure, it gets into a waltzy mid-section, but the main theme (and its accompaniment) is pure scales.

Only arpeggios...any version of La Folia...variations variations variations (12 of them...all very difficult to play) on arpeggios...it's pretty amazing. Oh, yeah, no way it's chillout music. Especially more contemporary stuff like Gorecki's Kleine Requiem fur Eine Polka especially when the trombones come in...
