I'm a new member (although I have been in Allpoetry for some years now). I tried to IM a greeter for some help but messaging doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas why?
It also says I have to be a Mod to go into the tutorial for new users. Surely this is not the case?
Also, I can't seem to find a guide as to what I should use sharepoetry for- how it is different from allpoetry. Some of my Allpoetry poems are already up on my page (but not all). Is there an 'idiot's guide' for us newbies? -
Sharepoetry and Allpoetry are two separate sites(sharing only the IMs). The poems you have at AP would have to be posted here for critiquing. The ones that are already showing on your page, under 'My other items', are the newest ones you've posted at Allpoetry. (If you have a Storywrite page, it would show those
same posts.) If you post to your Sharepoetry page, then on your AP page, it will show those posts under 'My other items'.
(It also says I have to be a Mod to go into the tutorial for new users. Surely this is not the case?) ... Definitely a glitch! I'll let Kevin know... and, that could be the reason why the tutorials have vanished.
The IM are working... not sure why they didn't when you tried to send. With the IMs, the person has to be a Sharepoetry site member for it to go through, so, if you clicked on the name in the list, then it should have worked.
