So I like got a free gold membership for like a week or whatever, but the thing is...nothing has changed. I thought it was supposed to let me add pictures and stuff. It used to, like when I had gotten it, but now it does nothing.

You still have some silver membership left, so that might be causing a few things. It could be that the gold doesn't kick in until the silver expires in 7 days. I'll check with Kevin to see about it, and let you know.

Sometimes you need to log out and back in again if you win the membership while you're currently online.
