I didn’t know Faith No More did “Let’s Lynch The Landlord”! What album is that on?
-
-
It’s on their EP, “Songs to Make Love to,” and on “Virus 100,” a collection of Dead Kennedys covers by different artists.
-
-
I see….so it’s post Chuck Mosely eh? that’s good.

I like Fall Out Boy’s cover of “Love will tear us apart”
-
I love HIM’s cover of Wicked Game by Chis Isaak- they have brought out the bit in the backing vocals that goes “This world is only going to break your heart” more than the original does. You can hardky hear it on the original. Razorblade Romance was worth all of what I paid for it for that one song!
I also like Three Day’s Grace’s cover of “Everything about you” by Ugly Kid Joe. It’s really different, and really good. -
Breaking Benjamin—”We Are Not Alone” popular song off that is “So Cold” Breaking Ben is from the same area I live in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. They kick butt!
-
This is one to really ponder on. But the first one that comes to mind is Fiona Apples cover of Across The Universe by the Beatles—I like the music video to that as well.
-
Where to get?
Are there places where you can download these online? I remember that maybe covers are ok to download/distribute, or perhaps that is just live recordings…These sound good, wish I could hear them!
I really liked a live version of a Cure song by Tool, “Diarrhea of a Madman”

Well, these recordings have been released, so they’re still copyrighted material. You might be able to find them through such legal venues as iTune’s music store.

Sixpence None the Richer "Love is Blindness" U2
The cover might be better than the original, which is a huge complement to any band that covers U2. -
