Downloading help needed

    Missing? No--that is, not intended.

    Just that a firewall or something repeatedly goobered up trying to place Flash Player 8 into my Windows XP laptop. Failed.

    Trying again, but into the Linux desktop, which pulls Firefox into Fedora Core. I do not have the foggiest idea how to download it.

    Can anyone help?

    Sorry. No idea here. I don't have Linux, and I refuse to use Firefox. Might be someplace in the internet safety options that allows you to peg the site in question as aceptable and let it download to someplace else.

    Although I do not use chat myself, mostly because of the time it takes, I do not fault others for its entertainment value, and know some of it can also be useful.

    I was totally shut out of a group they invited me to join because they did not know I could not take part in discussion in the chat box. I regret misunderstandings there may have been as a result because I did not intend to avoid taking part in discussion.

    Of course if that was the intention...?
    If so, I hope they had fun reaming me out!
