I have lost the entire contents of "my page"! The poems have not changed, could be replaced, but the comments are what I value! Can they be restored?
For reasons of improved health, after my name no longer fit, I changed DeeCrepit to Terry-too. Tabula rasa!
Discovering what had happened, and that the name I had used since bulletin boards were all we had, before Telnet was invented, was suddenly "available" I snagged it back, now keeping two names. DeeCrepit as before, but Terry-too.
I suppose the same thing happened automatically with my archive here?
Many of those poems were saved nowhere else.
Let my experience be a lesson for all other foolish members!

Combined, Yes please. I quickly reclaimed my
original name when I saw it was "available."
Keeping Terry-too for teaching: (AP school,
Winklings, Storywrite.) Reached from both.
This may be impossible, but whichever name I may
have taken on beginning, my old DeeCrepit is for
writing, posting poems and edits, critiques.
I am likely to check in to see what's happening
in Sharepoetry whichever name may be up.
Saved in one place only, with additions from me
in either name, can it also be made to be
accessed from either name? Dreaming maybe?

If you have the names combined, then Terry-Too will become available, and you would have to register it. Anything on that name(before combining) would be under the DeeCrepit name (on all sites). If that is what you want, you can IM either me, or a moderator on Allpoetry(where the name combines are done), and let them know. If they have any questions, get them to IM me, and I'll finll them in.
You could also do the name changes for the two accounts, and make Terry-too into DeeCrepit, and DeeCrepit into Terry-Too. (It's all confusing, really, but easier done than typed out.) -

That last idea is more or less how it probably is working already. Terry-too is registered, as is DeeCrepit.
To keep everything under the DeeCrepit name would have to be fine. Just so it is not lost; it is where old friends would look for stuff.
I hope that would not mean that when I enter as Terry-too I would have no access to anything.
In T-too's teaching process, there would be less need to save outside the course itself which I do already, offline and temporarily.
And then there will be Storywrite to complicate things further once I edit my novels, because if (oh this is a hilarious idea) if one of them should sell- then it would complicate names even more. Not much fear of that. However I will be critiquing in storywrite too...
How tiresome this all is! I am sorry it got so tangled, and appreciate the help you have given.
It seemed such a simple thing to make a name fit improved circumstances.

DeeCrepit is lost. Returned July 9
I logged in with the old name and
Terry-too was displayed. With nothing that belonged in Sharepoetry.
Narrow box as always. I'll add to this.
Edit is better, with a full-width box, too!

HELP ME!!!
I have recently lost all of the background settings I had for "My Page" and for all of my poems except one, and I had to change that one. I try to change the others but it doesn't change, usually only the title and links will change. The font or the background never changes, I have a gold membership so I do not know what the problem is??? COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME OR TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM OF MINE I WOULD TRULY BE GRATEFUL. THOUGH ITS NOT A BIG DEAL TO MY WORDS, IT HELPS SET THE MOOD OF THE POEM.
