I have two favorite locations. One is about a 4 hour trip- to The Sequoia National Forest. It’s absolutely gorgeous there any time of year. The other takes about 20 minutes to get to… my favorite spot on the beach. Again, gorgeous any time of year.

    Paris…sigh.

Actually if you drive outside of Paris, to Tours for example, there are just fields and fields filled with yellow flowers. I don’t have any pictures but I can still see it today 4 years later.

I feel Australian destinations are certainly worth checking out. I'm not talking Opera House here but our National Parks and beaches, places in Western and Northern Australia where you won't see high rise just nature as she intended it to be.

    Vieques/Culebra

mmm... so beautiful, two teensy islands just off the coast of puerto rico. nothing to do but go to the baby powder soft white sand beaches and relax under a coconut tree, or take a swim in the amazingly clear and bright blue waters. If you go, you have have have to see the bioluminescent bay in Vieques. It was THE most magical experience of my life. I've done it twice, it didnt lose any magic the second time around. Just google 'Vieques Bioluminescent Bay' and check it out. If you go, it is guaranteed to be one of the best experiences of your life. Apparently theres a lot of cheap flights to Puerto Rico too. I went with my parents for 140 dollars round trip, that cheap is probably rare though.

care of white sand beaches and deep or shallow sea diving/snorkling? get a ticket now and fly to Cebu, Palawan and Bohol in the Philippines, and if you are lucky explore the Sulu sea.
