I have been dabbling in writing poetry since grade school . I won a poetry contest we were suppose to write about smoky the bear any way that's where it began.
Then i met my husband who is a entertainer and we started writing songs together me the lyrics and him the music. We did that for years. One of them "Thanks To The Fool" was in billboard magazine as picked to hit the charts but that did not happen. We still write music together and now my granddaughter performs with my husband as grandfather and granddaughter duo which you may see a sample of our songs at www.myspace.com/heartsoul. But now back to me I want to go back to my first love of writing poetry. So I am a little rusty. I am very excited about doing what I love. I would like to share some of my poetry and read other people's poetry.
