    vivid imagery

    What happened to "this throne of kings...this sceptered isle, set in the silver sea"
    Which land are you writing about?
    No matter,your imagery is powerful and although our lands are beautiful to look at the way we are forced to live affects our view
    of our surroundings.
    It reminds me of The Boom Town Rats song "I Don't like Mondays"
    Well done for such thought provoking imagery

    Believe it or not I have finally edited this poem with your suggestion of changing the "girl" into a woman.It is more appropriate as the subjuect of the poem is 46 years old now.Thankyou for you helpful advice.
