My name is Alexis. I was born in Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri. I never really wrote poetry from the start, but in high school we used to do Poetry Share. We would write poems like Haiku, Style, Found, Honku, Concrete, Bio and just whatever you'd like. People said they really like my poems so I just started to really write more. But other than writing, I love to draw. Anything. I just like drawing people mostly or graffiti. I can draw the Boondocks really good. I also like to play basketball. My fav. sport. My fav. team is the Phoenix, Suns. Football is my 2nd fav. sport. My fav. team is the Bengals but only because of the finest player on the team....#84, is my future husband. I like to watch t.v. My fav. show is Prison Break/Tom & Jerry/ANTM/106 & Park/Oprah/Extreme Makeover:Home Edition/Desperate Housewives/Law & Order/Family Guy/Boondocks. My dad loves Family Guy because the show is set in Rhode Island, which is where he is from. I am mixed with Cape Verdean(Portugese and African),Indian, and African American. I just like to relax. I am a Christian. I like R&B, Gospel, Hip-Hop and cultural music like Latin and Cape Verdean. Im just a cool, chill person. I want respect like everyone else. I love music and I would like to go to Brazil near Rio de Janeiro. I also want to visit my countyr Cape Verde. I want to visit Hawaii and see the Niagara Falls. But basically I want to fulfill my dream of becoming a dentist and havin 2 kids, hopefully twin girls or two girls. I just have to do my best where im at now.
