Lately, I have had an inner urge to write, and so I have. My writing comes from personal experiences and may not fit into any specific genre, this is simply how it pours out of me. Suggestions are always welcome, and so are comments.
Thank you for stopping by, if you drop me a line I will return the favor!
About Me:
I am very much into Music of most any kind, with an emphasis on Classic Rock, Blues, Soul, Reggae, Rock... I could go on and on. Some of my favorite Music Artists are: Pink Floyd, The Allman Bros., Creedance, Ottis Redding, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Fats Domino, Bob Marley, Dave Matthews Band, Pink (because she's real!), I am forgetting so many...
I Love to Paint, and Airbrush, I do visual art with Photoshop as well. I am a HUGE Hotrod fan...My avatar was my first car. I work on my own cars, I love motorcycles, I bought my first Harley at 29, and sold it at 30...lol...gotta feed the kids you know...the economy sucks!.
It seems that I write when I am in the deepest pain, I guess thats why my poems make perfect sense to me, and sometimes don't make any sense to others. I am grateful to be here, and thank you for taking the time to stop by!

on Love is Ok by AdInfinitumZ, on October 3, 2009You are so right, the truthfulness of this piece rings loud in my ears. You have quite the insight and an idea that could truly change the world if it was adopted by all.
I loved this:
"But really
everyone is just lonely
lost and feeling homely
because no one
thinks
to love."
I have to say I have felt this personally, the lack of love in someones life can cause a feeling of worthlessness and self doubt; things that everyone feels from time to time, but the absence of love only serves to exacerbate those feelings.
I could pull out each stanza separately and relate to all of them, but I am afraid we would run out of space for this comment...lol
The sad fact is that there was a time when love was revered and sacred, and it seems that nowadays verbalizing it has become a reason to banish into exile anyone who dares say it aloud. The word has been abused, and misused, and has lost its true meaning and power because of this, which leaves us with a feeling that love is just OK.
Great job, I truly enjoyed reading a poem about love, one that longs for what it use to mean, instead of trashing it for how people use it against each other...Bravo!

Hey there, good to hear from you again. Thank you for your compassion and understanding. It is unfortunate that our troops are "rewarded" for their service with this less than adequate medical care. I am afraid that even though I am a devout patriot because of my fathers service; if my son told me he wanted to join the service I would have to try to talk him out of it, i just don't think I could go through this again with someone I love so dearly. Thank you again for your kind words in regards to my father, we both appreciate them I assure you. I am glad to be back and hopefully after things slow down a bit I will be able to start writing again. Again it was good to hear from you I will try to make more appearances when I can. Thanks for hanging in there with me!
