OcalamityShow poetry

I go to NYU, but I'm not too much of a fan, seeing as how the ego of everyone around me makes me feel like I'm in a duel in some ghost town out west. "This town ain't big enough for the two of our egos!" I just stay out of the crossfire, hide under the radar.
Most weekends you'll find me out of the city, hanging out upstate with my boyfriend just relaxing, fighting, kissing, and having fun.
Otherwise, give me a pretty lake, a Mark Twain novel, and a tree for some shade and I'm on cloud nine.
Enjoy the poems.

I get the feeling this poem is directed towards yourself; very moving. Its plain that you use your poetry to work out your own thoughts, and thats exactly the point of it all. Just watch the use of "your" vs. "you're." Otherwise, I really enjoyed it.
