    I was amazed that while this poem is about substance abuse it could also describe maddening heartbreak and addiction to a person that keeps hurting you over and over.

    Wow, I had many feelings evoked by this poem. I felt as if it was describing two people that were just tired of working through their relationship and at times one of them did all the work, and then at times the other did, and now both people are just exhausted and tired of it, but there is still hope of revival amidst it all, Ive been here!
