Tempest

Effervescent sky
Speaks torrid forms - a storm is forming.
Billowed clouds, dappled gray and black
Build over a derelict landscape,
Spreading their toxic, insidious heat.

Vehement, vocal thunder
Rumbles in the distance - another melancholy night.
Remorseless beatings from the raging wind
Destroy the already drab and empty acres,
Ruination nearing, lingering in the stoic atmosphere

Fiery, dancing phantom
Illuminating the bleak view - playing in shadows.
Lightning, flashing across the night,
Frivolous shooting wreaks a lapse of darkness
As flames find the land, instance of destruction explodes.

Nature surrenders to itself.
