Divine Love

God’s love was with me from the start
He paints my path of life each day
Protects me throughout any darkness
With Angels beside me all the way.

His source of love enlightens my soul
My heart learns how this love is shared
Grateful for the blessings of our Lord
I bend my knees knowing I will be heard.

God’s glory talks to me by the sunset
By thunder’s voice and the touch of a breeze
Among thousands His eyes are upon me
And never would He miss anyone’s pleas.

I am aware of His Divine guidance
Praying for light on a crossroad’s turn
His mercy can be taken for granted
Yet patiently He waits for us to learn.

Thank you Lord, we all are lost without You
You’re not found in Heaven but in our midst
Our trust in You helps through challenges
Your love tears apart all erroneous’ mist.

    Your work brought happy tears into my eyes, it is simply beautiful.It brings down all confusions, all problems and makes you feel that He's there with you every time so why is there a need to worry.
    There's a deeper thought behind each of your word as in the one that says "Yet patiently He waits for us to learn".
    It is just beautiful.In a way I am thankful to you as your words brought peace to me.

    this was nice. I think faith is a great thing and it's nice to see it affirmed in your words. The tone of humility, such a necessity so oft overlooked, is a beautiful complement to your words. And truly, though I struggle with such things, there is a feeling of peace that accompanies the reading of these lines throughout.

    I like how you affirm the presence of God in your life by pointing to a sense of direction, an appreciation for His creations as evidences of Him, and the all-conquering power of love that you attribute to Him. You paint him as creator, protector and director.
