I care enough to look away
Its too much for my eyes
Your painful screams hurt my ears
Its crammed into my mind
I see the fear in your heart
Your soul burns with fire
Blood drips from the knife
Can you tame your evil desire?
Red eyes fade to gold
Skin turns grey and pale
You lose your mentality
I can feel you turning frail
Your eyes shine and shed a tear
I feel so hopeless I cry
Why shouldn’t I shed a tear
Knowing your going to die?
Angels pick you up
And stick a spear through your chest
They fly you up to heaven so gently
In peace you can finally rest.

It is not weird at all!
I personally love poems with such an interest in death and not just the sad, crying side of it either. I would have to admit that this is not as grand as your other work, but it is still great. I can relate in a way not directly stated in the poem. I myself am morbid and people around me have noticed how the death of others does nothing to me. In a way, I think of that. How some people are mortified by the loss, while others just say, "what a shame" and continue on with life.
Anywho, this is nice,
Ashley
