Sometimes teachers creep me out
With their really strange ways
Like when they draw about
The math we’ve learned today
I don’t need a detailed cartoon
Of a person, giant fish, and boat
Or to learn math by music tune
It’s actually a distracting note
But to some degree it’s funny
Even though it tends to annoy
This is how they earn their money
They might as well enjoy
But still I am confused
On how they come up with this
But I’ll always be amused
That people like them exist

I had some goofy teachers this year too. Including a great math story on radicals and radicans...it followed a similar plotline to "Romeo and Juliet". Haha.
Anywho, this is cute and funny. You should let some of your teachers read this. That would be a nice thank you gift, I think. A few spots were ruff with flow, but with your fun topic, it's very hard to notice!
