They tell us the word
They say Believe,
We're drones to they're plan,
Un-responsive and Un-reactive,
The word is corrupt,
Spoiled by the rich,
Built by the poor,
We are all born equal?
People born outside,
People born inside,
Inside the circle, of upper society,
Were the power to shape and mould the earth is,
So tall the rich grow,
so fat and so selfish ,
and they put freedom away,
so the poor cannot reach,
We are all slaves to the word,
The word is the system,

have you ever read "1984" by George Orwell? one of my all time favourites
this poem is very similar in theme; an entrapment by society which makes us all, as you put it, "slaves to the word"
the ambiguity of "the word" sounds quite intimidating, and the fact that you never quite explain what it is adds to this
i'd suggest maybe adding a more rigid structure to place more emphasis of the rigidity and umbending will of "the word" and its society
very nice, and very effective
