Hatred
“Hatred is such a strong word,”
So I am always told.
However, why do we use it so freely?
Like verbal and nonverbal speech,
We show signs of verbal and nonverbal hatred
-a vicious glare
-a violent protest
-a bloody massacre
Life is difficult enough the way it is.
Roaming the land with hatred and disgust
Only adds to the complications
We hate so much that we
-set flags on fire
-burn down homes
-kill others for their beliefs
If we were to love, rather than hate,
Would this be a peaceful world?
Is this even possible?
“Hatred is such a strong word,”
So I am always told.
But why, do we use it so freely?
