Sometimes I write my poems
'cause there's something I must say.
Sometimes I write my poems
to pass the time away.
Sometimes I'll write a poem
'bout something I have seen.
Sometimes I'll write a poem
'bout a really silly dream.
Sometimes they make me happy.
Sometimes they make me sad.
Sometimes they turn out really good.
Sometimes they're really bad.
It doesn't really matter
as long as I have fun.
Years from now I'll take them out
and show them to my son.

This was good. I liked it simply because while reading it, it made me smile and think about why i write.=]

Well mssbaker,
If I made you smile then I've done my job. Enough said.

Hey Brian
I think the ending is kewl, other than that the rhyming is too sing song for me, I hope you know what that means. If not it's kinda like saying those words in baby talk to a simple common everday kind of melody. It's more of a nursery rhyme than a poem I would say, which isn't a bad thing, just a different thing. Plus beware of nursery rhyme haters who do not understand LoL. Either way ya read it a long long time from now and if ya had/have a son you can show him and it will be nostalgic. hope to hear from ya soon

I understand you mm,
What can I say sometimes that's the way I hear them so that's the way I write them. I know that some peopel will not like some of my poetry but that's alright. I don't worry too much about it. Thanks for reading me. I think You're ahead and I know I owe you some reads when I get caught up. Course your's are more intellectual and it takes my mind a little longer to wrap around them but I'll get there hopefully soon. Thanks again mm.
