Her powdered utopia dug her grave
That crystal dust was all she craved
White lines blurred her hopes and dreams
All the while down her cheek tears streamed
Living a life she loved and hated
Making sure her pain was sedated
Wanting to be a good mother and daughter
Our hope for her was all but slaughtered
One day here, the next day gone
Left to wonder what she OD’d on
She slipped away so fast, so soon
Even she knew her candy was doom
She loved God but couldn’t serve Him
The drug was her cage – that much was certain
Now once and for all she is finally free
Our bright and beautiful Stephanie
