My son has a kitten named Sunshine
He thinks bedtime is playtime.
He'll run and he'll jump
with a very loud thump.
He plays with his toys
and makes all kinds of noise.
When it's time to get up he won't make a peep
because that little kitten is fast asleep.

It was a nice, happy poem..but it made me sad. =[
Because I can't get a kitten. My mom doesn't like cats. And her reasoning is: we already have a cat. But we don't. We have a dog who acts like a cat sometimes, but mostly like a dog. Sigh...
Anyways, I loved this poem! (But is it any wonder? I love all of your poems..)

That makes me sad for you. I wish you could have one. It's relaxing to pet your kitty. Petting a dog is ok but it's not the same. I'm glad you like the poem and that's so sweet of you to say.
