ladyjanew : Hey AL! on March 23, 2008Just a quick note to let you know that I finally submitted some of my poetry for publication. I submitted to The Pedestal online magazine. I submitted Unrequited, Ode to Housework, Old People Rant, and Ode to 7th grade crush. I never had the balls to submit before, but I thought, what the hell? It can't hurt. Do you submit your poems for publication, AL? Yours are way better than mine. They should be published!
Anyway, have a great Easter, and I'm reading more of your work. Keep up your great writing! -
Dun : Guess what, gG? on March 8, 2008your comments put me over the edge so that the "show all" button appeared. When I clicked this button I found that I now have an option shown to delete. But you know what? I'm not gonna. I believe in showing things as they truly are and dealing with it. So it stays. So I'm a giant-ass-engendererer-of-teen-angst. So what?

Thanks, gG.

Dun : Hey gG on March 8, 2008Ohhh, thanks man. (sigh of relief)
It's nice to see I'll not have an everlasting epitaph of assholery as my remembrance. Thanks, gG. I think the whole slash at the guestbook is an Allpoetry teen angst revenge thing, because I really don't understand why they didn't just respond to my comment on their poem page rather than bagging on me here in set-in-stone vitriol. Ahhh, so be it. I've often wondered why dave didn't remove the dumbass that slashed his guestbook. And now I understand. Although I wish I didn't. Ah, well...

gnosisonG : Teeny Bopper Fury on March 8, 2008Hi Al. Just read in a comment of yours from somewhere, about how itīs impossible to remove stuff from ones guestbook - knowing about the two soppy comments here from before I had to burst out in a fit of gut-wobbling laughter! Sorry.
But I view these two irate idiocies in the same vein as you do of course and let me hereby declare that in my opinion Plumeister is one of the most solid and dedicated comment/review-givers on this site and if any feel umbrage at his honesty then I suggest "Critical Poetry" is NOT for you. For here the quill is most certainly sharper than the sword.
Regards

Dun : Hey sarahunderwater. on March 7, 2008I've really got to stick to an age limit in my commenting choices being as how adolescents seem to rain from the Sharepo sky in unseemly rage at my commenting honesty.
Please, forgive me. It was not my intent to make you feel bad. It just struck me as funny that you would idolize a young man for his testosterone-charged reading skill. It just struck me as funny, that's all. My apologies. And you know what? To be honest with you, I really dig people who can write well. I think it's neat and very revelatory as to character and such. So I guess I can understand you being enamored of Mr. Super-Duper Reader. And just so's you know, I don't usually comment unless I like a work in some way, shape or form. I liked your write and so I tried to offer some constructive criticism. There is no need for you to abandon your attachment to your work by virtue of your maturity at the time of its conception. Stand behind your work. I though you did a nice job. I was just trying to help.

Sarah Under Water : March 3 on March 3, 2008you comented on my song/poem Me and You. I was in second grade when I liked him for his reading skills. I only worte it in early fifth grade, when I was 11. No matter what anyone says I'm not going to change a single thing about it. Don't worry, the reading thing was a stupid kid thing.

Dun : Hey andream on February 2, 2008if you want me to sugar coat reality for you it's not gonna happen. I rarely give negative reviews because of bleeding heart crap like this. Usually, I just review the poems I like and enjoy. So, if you don't hear from me its because I don't enjoy your work. And do you know why? BECAUSE I'M NOT A LIAR. I'm not going to blow sunshine up anyones backside just so I can be everyone's friend. Not gonna happen. I made some very valid points and if you cannot answer those points then it is obvious to me you've no interest in objective input on your work. I write for me too, but I also like to know if I'm getting my point across. That's where objective feedback comes in handy, it lets me see where I'm going. If you are happy driving off the road in your attempts to reach the mind of this particular reader and have no intention of paying attention to road signs, so be it. But don't cry to me as the big, bad man who killed your dreams. It's baloney. Snap out of it and be a big girl, hmmmmkayyyy???? Alrighty, then!

Andream1399 on February 2, 2008you posted a comment on one of my poems, i know you most likely didnt mean harm but you may not know i am a young writer who is trying desperatly to write good poems for a while i stopped writeing and said fuck it because people a little like youself told me i wasnt a good writer, i know you didnt flat out say that but you didnt have to, people slowly crush my dreams and i dont like it. thanks for the advice but the things i write i dont want to be perfect i write them so I understand what every word means because everyword i write has a meaning and memory behind, i do not expect any one reader to understand my poems completly i write them for my own health because if i dont i bottle up a lot of problems. SO thanks
